This is the most stunning example of a mantle I've ever seen. Circa early 1890s. The puffed shoulders and long fringe are so good. I would love to wear a modern version of this.

It is quite heavy and features beautiful, intricate beadwork done in thousands of glass beads of different sizes.

She's a wounded bird with a shattered silk lining, which is partially missing. She is also shedding her beads at a high rate and is very delicate. There are a few strands of beaded fringe missing.
Definitely not a wearable piece due to age and condition, but a beautiful display or study piece!
