Beautiful black silk faille bodice circa 1890s with large gigot, leg o' mutton, or balloon sleeves.
Boned inner lining. Hook and eye closures down the center front with ruffles along the edges. Soutache / cord trimming down the front and on the cuffs. Tails in the back!
A very cute piece, and wonderfully preserved. Would make an excellent display, inspiration, or study piece, but also is wearable with care.
