Classic black rayon velvet dress circa 1930s-1940s.
Belt (not attached) is one size, not adjustable. Could also wear with a different belt of your choice or alter the belt if needed. Pads and gathering to emphasize the shoulders. Gathering at waist also.
Hem is slightly longer in the back than the front. Fabric is lightweight and almost semi-sheer.
Beautiful black glass decorative buttons on the front. Metal side zipper.

Lovely condition overall with a couple of minor flaws. There are two small holes in the skirt, as shown. Two tiny thin places in the bodice, as shown. A few flatter places in the velvet that could probably be brushed out, but it presents beautifully as is.
