Fabulous three dimensional sterling silver boot charm (unmarked, tested) circa later 19th century.
Inlaid with Scottish agate, these pieces, often known as Victorian Scottish hardstone jewelry, exploded in popularity during the Victorian era as a result of Queen Victoria's love of everything Scottish.
This piece features bloodstone and carnelian set into a detailed Victorian boot design.
It would be lovely worn on a necklace on its own or with other antique charms and fobs. It would also be wonderful on a bracelet.
