Incredible antique scarab ring circa 1880s-1920s, from the second or third wave of the Egyptian Revival.
Set into an elegant 10k gold band that highlights the stunning centerpiece that is the iridescent beetle! Although not an actual scarab or dung beetle, it is a real beetle. These beetles were widely used in jewelry and referred to as scarab beetles during the time period.
