1940s Chocolate Brown Wool Coat

This is a super cool heavy wool coat with a silk lining and velveteen collar, circa 1940s. It has three large buttons and can be worn open or closed.

15.5" between shoulder seams.

Sleeve length from armpit to cuff: 14.5"
Total length from back of collar to bottom hem: 29"
Laid flat, buttoned, armpit to armpit: 18.5"
Laid flat, buttoned, waist: 19.5" 

+++ Condition +++

Overall condition is very good and wearable with care. The lining has a few small stains that could be ink. Some stitching in the lining armpit is loose, and there are a few small thin places in the wool that are likely the work of some less than ambitious moths, but it presents wonderfully.
