Fantastic dark indigo cotton calico dress circa 1890s to early 1900s.
Buttons down the front, bodice lined with brown cotton, the rest of the dress unlined. Full skirt with hem ruffle.

Lovely condition overall with some flaws to note:
Some dye/color fading (which I think looks lovely!)
Some patches, done somewhat recently (in the last few decades)
Buttons have been replaced also in the last few decades but they have the appearance of period appropriate buttons
A few small pinholes throughout
Dress is wearable with care. I have not cleaned this piece, but it has no strong odors. Faint dusty smell from storage, and it could be hand washed and dried flat if desired. Dye may run, so proceed with caution. Stunningly beautiful for display as well.
