Lovely, whimsical silver plated box for hair pins circa 1890s with "Woman's Friend" on the top.
This footed box has a hinged lid and is decorated around the sides with a floral design. What would you keep inside?
Quadruple silver plate by Pairpoint Manufacturing (est. 1880), which became The Pairpoint Corporation in 1900.

Lovely condition overall with some wear and patina, as shown, which I have left as is. There appear to be some soldering repairs on the pin on top. Lid opens and closes nicely.
