A very unique and lovely repousse silver plated match safe pendant with a painted design of a woman surrounded by flowers and vines.
This piece was likely for a chatelaine originally, but is beautiful worn on a chain as a statement necklace.
The top opens on a spring loaded hinge that keeps it shut.

Lovely condition overall with some age related wear and patina. Some residue inside the match safe could be from holding original matches. I have not cleaned this piece.
