Diamond, pearl, 14k gold, and stunning plique a jour enamel, this gorgeous Art Nouveau lavaliere necklace dates from around the 1900s to 1910s.
The delicate, elegant curves of this piece are just so lovely and unique. And the bright green color is eye catching!
The pendant and chain are both 14k gold, marked and tested. There is also a makers mark but I have been unable to identify it.
Plique-à-jour is French for "letting in daylight." The way the enamel is applied in cells without any backing allows light to shine through both sides. It is especially suited to vibrant colors such as this!

Lovely condition overall with minor age-related wear. The enamel is in wonderful condition.
The baroque pearl drop has a small amount of wear (a little area a bit less pearlescent likely as a result of rubbing when worn), but it is on the back side and is not noticeable. It barely shows up in the macro photograph, but please take a look at all images and ask any questions before purchasing.
