Lovely black cotton/silk Swiss dot shirtwaist circa 1900s with beautiful puffed sleeves and lace collar.
Hook and eye closures down the center back. Lined with cotton.
Collar stays (broken, unfortunately) are all made of tiny wooden sticks, covered in silk. Sleeve cuffs are trimmed with silk velvet.

Good condition with some flaws to note. This piece would be wearable with care after some minor repairs. The fabric is quite study. But it would also be a lovely piece for study, display, inspiration, or pattern making.
