Incredibly romantic green velvet bodice circa 1900s.
The sleeves are so beautiful! With lace peeking out of the cuffs and beautiful painted decorative buttons at the cuffs and on the front.
Hook and eye closures in the front. There is cotton padding between the silk lining and the velvet, which is exposed due to the shattered lining.

Fair condition overall but the lining is shattered and falling apart. It is impossible to handle without little bits floating into the air, so use caution with handling.
There are also a few small holes in the velvet throughout, but it feels mostly sturdy apart from the lining. Some fading to the green velvet as well.
Lining could be removed and/or this piece could be used as a study or reference piece. I would love to see it reproduced!
This piece should not be worn in its current condition due to the fragile lining.
