Amazing pair of museum quality black silk shoes by Hook, Knowles & Co., circa 1910.
Hook, Knowles & Company was a London based shoemaker. They prided themselves in being the "makers to the royal family."
These lovely shoes are very finely made and feature some wonderful and unique cut steel buckles (clipped on).
