A stunning and unique pair of 19th century bracelets from the late Georgian or early Victorian era.

During the Georgian period, bracelets were typically worn in pairs like this, but it is rare to find them still together.

The band of the bracelets are made of braided silk strands with gold beads. The clasps test for about 9k gold and feature what appear to be foil backed paste stones.

The backs of each clasp is monogrammed with the letters CM / MC.
